This radio programme discussed the British legal system and how crimes are punished. I found this article interesting, particularly the actual real-life cases such as the two Norwegian six-year olds who killed an innocent five-year-old boy and they were back in school two weeks later. The programme compared that to another situation in the UK, the Jamie Bulger case, where two ten-year olds were tried as adults for killing a toddler and received years of imprisonment. Should these cases have been treated the same, because they were both murder cases?
